The Social Media Team members connect people to the message of Jesus Christ by completing weekly shot/tasks lists and increasing online engagement through innovative and creative expressions across social media platforms.

  • Spiritual Gifts – Serving
  • Talents/Abilities – Experience in graphic design; Proficient computer skills; Proficient grammar skills
  • Best Personality Trait – Artistic, Creative, Leader- analyst or Leader-dependable
  • Passions – Promoting good communication within the church and presenting a positive image of the church to the community.
  • Length of Service Commitment – One year minimum
  • Anticipated Time Commitments
    • Doing ministry/preparing for ministry: Two hours a week; possibly more during special events
    • Participating in meetings/training: One to two hours a month, as requested
  • Responsibilities/Duties
    • Receive and complete weekly shot/ tasks lists.
    • Work with social media director and creative team to design advertisements, flyers, web posts, sermon series graphics, etc.
    • Meet with social media director to brainstorm regarding special projects.
    • Use the latest social media outlets to help create and maintain the ministry’s presence on social media.
    • Keep an eye on the pulse of social media trends to ensure the ministry’s presence is relevant while remaining biblical.

The graphic designer will contribute to good public relations of the church by using graphic design skills to help develop eye-catching, thought provoking printed and online media.

    • Use computer skills to create and finalize design and layout advertisements, flyers, web postings and sermon series graphics as assigned.
