Season Defined: A season can be defined as a distinct period of time marked by specific characteristics, circumstances, or divine purposes.
Ecclesiastes 3:1 (NKJV) 1To everything there is a season, A time for every purpose under heaven:
Seasons can be temporary or long-lasting, filled with growth or pruning, trials or triumphs, beginnings or endings. They often come with lessons, challenges, and opportunities that prepare us for what’s next.
The Season of Discipleship: Learning and Following
They followed before they led (Matthew 4:19)
They faced testing and correction (Matthew 14:28-29, Mark 9:28-29)
They were sent on small assignment (Luke 9:1-2)
The Season of Transition: From Training to Commissioning
A season of crisis and doubt (Mark 14:50, Luke 22:61-62)
A season of revelation (Luke 24:44-45)
The Season of Apostleship: Walking in Authority
They received the Holy Spirit (Act 2:1-4)
They became leaders and miracle workers (Acts 3:6-8)
They faced persecution (Acts 5:41)
