A Message from Our Lead Pastor

Dear Brook Church Family,

As we prepare to enter 2026, we are approaching our annual consecration with renewed intention and spiritual focus. This year, we will consecrate for twelve days, setting aside one day for each month of the year ahead. This rhythm allows us to slow down, reflect deeply, and prayerfully consider the journey God is inviting us into month by month.

This consecration will be different in posture and purpose. Rather than coming before God with a list of requests, we are coming with open hearts and surrendered wills. Our prayer is not centered on what we want God to do for us, but on what God desires from us. We are seeking clarity, alignment, and obedience. We want to hear His voice, understand His expectations, and position ourselves to respond faithfully.

Each day will be an opportunity to listen, to examine our lives, and to realign our priorities with the will of God. As we devote time to prayer, fasting, and reflection, we believe God will speak with wisdom and direction for our families, our church, and our future. This consecration is about preparation. It is about being shaped before being sent and being aligned before moving forward.

We invite every member of The Brook to join us fully in this sacred time. Come with expectancy, humility, and a willingness to respond to whatever God reveals. We believe that when we seek Him with sincerity and obedience, He will guide us with clarity and grace.

We look forward to walking through this consecration together as one church family, trusting God to lead us faithfully into 2026.

With grace and gratitude,

~ Bishop Simeon Moultrie

Consecration Guidelines

What is Consecration?

Consecration is the time and process devoted to set apart anything to the worship or service of God. We are taking the first month of this year to hear from God about His direction for our lives so that we can move forward with clarity. We want to posture ourselves to get closer to God by taking this time to pull away from the noise and to lock in on the things that He wants us to do in life.

Social Focus

Limit use of the internet, social media, movies, television, cellphones and recreation during the consecration. This does not mean you can’t use the preceding for needful or spiritual things. Please use wisdom. Spend your time praying or reading your Bible or other Christian books. Spend a minimum of 15 minutes of prayer & personal devotion individually or as a family. Listen to gospel music only.

What is Fasting?

Fasting is defined as abstaining from food, or to restrict oneself to a meager diet, either as a religious observance or as a ceremonial expression of grief; to go without food; also (contextually) to go without drink; to pass (time) fasting; to keep or observe (a day, etc.) as a time of abstinence.

Times of Corporate Fasting

No food consumption until after 1pm Monday-Saturday. We will not fast on Sundays.

This fast is not designed to cause you any physical, emotional or mental harm; so it is extremely important to follow your doctor’s orders/instructions.
