Ministry Descriptions
The ECHO Choir Members present special praise and worship music to the congregation and encourage the congregation to join in.
- Spiritual Gifts – Exhortation, Serving
- Talents/Abilities – Good singing voice and/or able to play musical instrument.
- Best Personality Trait – Good character; Neat; Outgoing; Dependable-expresser or expresser-analyst
- Passions – For praising and worshipping God through music
- Length of Service Commitment – One year minimum
- Anticipated Time Commitments
- Doing ministry/preparing for ministry: Two hours a week, once a month
- Participating in meetings/training: One hour as requested
- Responsibilities/Duties
- Participate in rehearsals as scheduled.
- Participate with the band in leading the congregation in praise music and in presenting special music.
Our Praise Team members present special praise and worship music to the congregation during the worship experience. Audition required to join this ministry.

- Responsibilities/Duties
- Participate practices/ rehearsals as scheduled.
- Participate with the praise team in leading the congregation in praise music and in presenting special music.
The Praise Team Worship Leader will organize and lead the church praise team in presenting special praise and worship music to the congregation and leading the congregation in praise and worship.
- Spiritual Gifts -Administration, Pastor/shepherd, Exhortation
- Talents/Abilities – Good leadership and organizational skills · Training and/or experience in directing a choir or music group preferred · Knowledge of basic music fundamentals.
- Best Personality Trait – Dependable; Consistent; Good character; Neat; Outgoing; Expresser-leader
- Passions – Praising and worshipping God through music
- Length of Service Commitment – One year minimum
- Anticipated Time Commitments
- Doing ministry/preparing for ministry: Two to four hours a week, twice weekly
- Participating in meetings/training: As needed
- Responsibilities/Duties
- Work in conjunction with Minister of music/music director to obtain praise music.
- Organize praise team(s).
- Schedule praise team rehearsals.
- Recruit members for the praise team(s).
- Lead the praise team in leading the congregation in praise music and in presenting special music.
